A short note on how this site is made.
Built in-studio. No CMS, no page builder, no marketing platform. The site is an artifact of the people who write our code, made the same way we'd make any product.
Typography
- Cormorant Garamond
- The serif voice of the studio. Used for italic emphasis, display moments, and the quiet, considered beats of a sentence.
- Geist
- The body face. Open, neutral, and well-balanced at small sizes — chosen because it gets out of the way of the writing.
- JetBrains Mono
- The monospace tag for metadata, eyebrows, and the small annotative type. A nod to where the work is actually done.
Stack
Next.js on the App Router, React 18, and TypeScript. Static rendering wherever the page allows it. Hosted on Vercel. The animations — the canvas hero, the signature scroll, the kinetic type — are written in vanilla TypeScript against the canvas API.
